For instance, the glyph of Valda increases the range of all ranged units by 1 which is an impressive increase for many units that struggle with slow movement rates (such as the Marro Stinger line or 4th Massachusetts). In addition to these units, this glyph also works well with melee units that would otherwise struggle to get into position to deal damage.
Some glyphs, including the Discretionary Ligatures glyph, are designed to enhance the visual appearance of fonts. They may include additional characters that are not part of the standard set. This is done to make fonts look more realistic, or to add additional ornaments.

Growthstones
